Pumas Can't Catch Up To Bears
The Pumas fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-5 loss to PC on Tuesday.
David Enriquez was on the mound for the Pumas, going three innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking zero. Michael Modrick and Brady Welch entered the game in relief, throwing three and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Ryan Romero launched two home runs in the game, one in the second and another in the fourth inning.
Romero went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead PV in hits.
PC racked up 11 hits on the day holding the Pumas to only 6.

Pumas Drop Game To PC After Late Score
The Pumas lost the lead late in a 7-2 defeat to PC on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with PC batting in the top of the sixth when a single scored one run.
The Pumas evened things up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning when
Jacob Paige doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
PC took the lead for good with five runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth PC hit a grand slam putting up four of their five runs that inning.
Ryan Romero launched his third home run of the day with a dinger in the second inning.
Ike George led the Pumas with three hits in four at bats.
