Centurions Win Big, top Phantoms 22-2

NEWTOWN, Pa. - The Bucks Centurions beat Delaware County on Tuesday afternoon 22-2 in seven innings.

The Centurions' Fernandez was perfect at the dish, going 3-3.

Bucks easily handled Delaware County's pitching as eight hitters combined for 18 hits, 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

Bucks stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring eight runs. Delaware County rallied to score two runs of their own. It didn't take long for the Centurions to respond as it scored four runs of its own in the fourth.

Bucks scored eight runs in the sixth. The Centurions scored two runs off a Colin Dybalski triple, an RBI double by Johnny Arroyo, an RBI single by Manny Fernandez, a bases loaded walk, and a three-run double by Justin Holz.

Brandon Wermuth got the win on the mound and only gave up 7 hits.

The win improves the Centurions record to 5-9 overall, 1-3 in Region XIX and 1-3 in EPAC. Delaware County drops to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in the EPAC. Next up for the Centurions, they host conference leaders Northampton Community College on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
