Yetis Baseball weekend recap: March 23-24

In a three-game series between Cleveland Community and Wake Technical Community College, Wake Tech came out on top with two wins to Cleveland's one.

In a doubleheader matchup between Cleveland Community College and Wake Technical Community College on March 23, 2024, both teams showcased their offensive prowess in two high-scoring games.

In the first game, Wake Tech emerged victorious with a 10-4 win over Cleveland. Wake Tech's offense was led by K. Smith, who had a standout performance with five RBIs. Cleveland Community's Aiden Schenck also contributed with a home run, but it wasn't enough to overcome Wake Tech's strong offensive showing.

The second game saw Cleveland bounce back with a narrow 10-9 victory over Wake Tech. Cleveland's Ben Hodge and Santos, Jr. played key roles in the win, with Hodge hitting a crucial home run and Laz Santos, Jr. driving in three runs.
