Statesmen Pick Up Win in Final Coaches vs Cancer Game

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Last week the men's basketball coaching staff participated in the Coaches vs Cancer initiative by wearing Suits and Sneakers for each contest. They joined coaches nationwide in raising awareness for the American Cancer Society and their efforts to attack cancer from every angle. Since the Coaches vs Cancer program began over 25 years ago, college and high school coaches have raised more than $140 million to attack cancer from every angle but they won't stop until cancer does. You can join the team and fundraise too at suitsandsneakers.org or follow @coachesvscancer on social media.

The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Men's Basketball team moves to 2-6 in conference play, 7-13 overall after they hosted Brunswick Community College Friday evening, and USC Salkehatchie Sunday afternoon.
