
(October 7, 2023) Clarksville, Arkansas - The men and women of Bucks Cross Country are heading into the final stretch of their regular season. It began Saturday morning at the University of the Ozarks for a 5K and 8K race. The Bucks host the Region II Championships on Saturday, October 28th, at the Lion's Club.
Women
The ladies are still down a runner due to an injury, but ran well on Saturday morning. Karen Campos (Pittsburg, TX) led both runners with a time of 23:08.30 and finished 33rd overall. Adriana Montiel (De Queen, AR) came in 58th with a time of 25:46.0. There was a total of 79 runners in the 5K race.
Men
There was a total of 77 runners in the 8K race this afternoon. Out of 7 teams in the race, the Bucks finished 4th Saturday morning. Leading the way for the Bucks was Angel Cordero (Sprindale, AR), placing 15th in the race with a time 28:26.60. Sophomore Luis Morales (Glenwood, AR) came in second for the men with a time of 28:38.21, finishing 17th.

47th - Montana Wesley (Waldron, AR) - 31:36.60
