PERKINSTON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs led early but dropped their MACCC opener here Thursday night to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs, 75-62.
Holmes will play Delgado in Goodman at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Gulf Coast led 33-31 at halftime and then outscored the Bulldogs, 42-31, in the second half.
Tyler Talley and Caleb Campbell each finished with 14 points. Lazamion McGruder finished with nine rebounds while Talley had nine.
The Bulldogs shot 40.9 percent from the floor (27-of-66).
