DAC Game Preview: Suns at North Lake
The CVC Suns Basketball Team will continue their Dallas Athletic Conference schedule this weekend when they head to Irving to take on the North Lake Blazers on Saturday. The Suns are currently 1-1 in DAC action.
Cedar Valley earned their first DAC victory of the season earlier this week against the Brookhaven Bears, 79-71. Alphonso Hawkins led CVC in scoring with 19 points with Larry Rusk Jr. engineering another triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Ronnie Horner also scored in double-figures with 13 points.
Entering this contest, North Lake is coming off of a 97-89 loss to No. 6 Eastfield and holds a conference record of 0-2.
Last year, the Suns and Blazers split the season series each winning a game.
