Baseball: Claim Victory Over Raritan Valley

Branchburg, NJ: Bucks County Community College Centurions defeated Raritan Valley Community College 9-5 on Sunday.

The Centurions got things moving in the second inning. Zack Austin drove in one when he singled.

Steve Brady led the Bucks to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out six. Chris Thompson and Evan Matthews entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

#19 took the loss for Raritan Valley Community College. He allowed eight hits and eight runs over four innings.

Ed Parry went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Centurions in hits.

Raritan Valley Community College had seven hits in the game. #3 and #1 each racked up multiple hits for Raritan Valley Community College. Raritan Valley Community College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. #3 had the most chances in the field with six.

The Centurions are now 5-1.
