Meberg Places One Of The Best Times For Brookdale Women's Cross Country In A Decade

Lincroft, NJ - On Saturday, November 11th, the women's cross country team participated in the NJCAA DIII National Championship meet at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.

Brookdale was represented by freshman Brooke Meberg from Ocean Township High School. Brooke placed 35th with a time of 22:43 over the 5K course. Meberg ran one of the best times for Brookdale women's cross country in a decade. "I am excited to see what the future holds for Brooke. She will be returning next year as an All-Region runner and is the building block of the women's program," said Coach Mike Tursi.
