Roadrunners compete in Maryville

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Roadrunners Track and Field team competed in the Bearcat Invite February 2-4 inside the Carl and Cheryl Hughes Fieldhouse at Northwest Missouri State University.

Two Roadrunners finished in the top eight scores. The Roadrunners 4x 800m relay team consisting of Ezeckual Freed, Ty Lewis, Ryan Smith, and Juan Herrera finished second with a time of 8:48.67. Wyatt Irwin continued his solid season finishing sixth in the men's high jump with a jump of 2.00 m.

"We faced some extremely tough competition at Northwest," said Roadrunners Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. "Landon Mason had huge PR's [personal records] in the weight throw and the shot put. We are very proud of the efforts of all our athletes in a very tough environment. We travel to Washburn next weekend for another competitive meet."
