PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast finds itself in an incredibly tight battle to make the MACCC Tournament with a tough doubleheader Tuesday at No. 5 Copiah-Lincoln looming.
First pitch in Wesson is set for 3 p.m. The games will be streamed at https://colinathletics.com/general/live_stream.
The Bulldogs are in a four-way for the eighth and final playoff spot. Gulf Coast, Northeast Mississippi and East Central are tied at 12-12 for eighth in the conference, with Southwest Mississippi also in there at 11-11 with a doubleheader to make up Sunday.
Hinds and Holmes are tied for sixth at 13-11.

Last Time Out
- MGCCC lost a pair of game at Perk to Itawamba, falling 8-4 and 2-0.
- Co-Lin split a doubleheader against Northwest in Wesson, winning 9-0 in five innings and losing 5-2.
Previous Meeting
On May 15, 2021, Gulf Coast knocked Co-Lin out of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament and clinched a trip to the NJCAA Tourney by beating the Wolves 7-3 in Eunice, La.
