Generals firepower too much for Hawks

UTICA, NY – Scoring nearly 50 points in each half against Mohawk Valley Community College, the Herkimer Generals cruised past the Hawks Wednesday night 93-81.

Herkimer (3-1, 1-0 MVC) had five player score in double figures. They were Enson Garcia (Bronx, NY), Jonathan Feiler (St. James, NY), Wendall Williams (Syracuse, NY) and RaShawn Collins II (Harlem, NY). Garcia finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and one block. Feiler finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and one block, Williams finished with 21 points, five rebounds, one assist and two steals and Collins II finished with 20 points, one rebound and one assist.

Other contributors in the team's third consecutive win were Jason Foden (Dolgeville, NY), Julio Galay (Bronx, NY), Jerrell Hunter (Utica, NY), Peter Clark (Utica, NY) and Anthony Lanieri (Port Jefferson, NY). Foden had one point, seven rebounds and one steal; Galay had two points and one assist; Hunter had four points, one rebound and one block; Clark had seven points; Lanieri had six points four rebounds and two steals.

The General's next game is this Saturday (11/16). They will host Hudson Valley Community College in the Varsity Gym at 3 p.m.
