Women's Basketball Explodes Offensively, Extends Winning Streak to 8

Lake Worth, FL – Women's Basketball destroys ASA Miami by a score of 95-53 and wins their 8th straight game.

Women's Basketball is on fire, rattling off win after win, and moving to 6-0 in the conference after Saturday's victory. They sit on top of the Southern Conference standings, ahead of 2nd place Indian River, which sits at 4-3 in-conference.

Caleese Ramirez and Izzy Allen were the offensive stars once again, Ramirez scored 17 points while Allen contributed 15. Each player on the roster scored at least one basket.

With the score tied 10-10 early in the first quarter, Palm Beach fired off three straight 3-pointers  to increase their lead to 9. After Izzy Allen was fouled and made 1-2 free throws, Stina Rehn-Andersson hit another big "three" which ended the quarter with the score 23-10. The Panthers would rattle off 4 more points (a 17-0 run) before a turnover led to ASA's first points since the 1st quarter.

At the end of 3, the Panthers led by 32 and scored an additional 31 points in the 4th quarter to put away ASA Miami for good.

Both Women's and Men's Basketball return home to face off against Broward College on Wednesday, February 5. The Women will look to extend their winning streak to 9 games.
