EPHRAIM, Utah (September 28, 2018) -- The eighth-ranked Snow College football team electrified the homecoming crowd with a 62-6 thrashing of the Phoenix Bears, Saturday night. Sophomore running back Jaylen Warren rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns, while former Manti High standout Derek Wright caught 4 passes for 104 yards and two scores in the blow-out victory.
Badger quarterback Braxton Kerr completed 14 of 25 passes for 228 yards and 4 touchdowns. Defensively, Isaac Fotu finished with 4 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss and a sack, while Parker Workman recorded 4 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 tackles for a loss.
With the victory, Snow improves their record to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in Western States Football League play. Snow will host the Mesa Thunderbirds this Saturday at 7pm at Robert Stoddard Field at Badger Stadium in Ephraim.
