Game 1 the cannoneers were led by the defense and the pitcher Rachael Shackleton. Shackleton had one of her best outings on the season in which she pitched a complete game allowing just 1 run and 5 hits. The offense was quiet and held to just 1 hit coming off the bat of Jadyn Childers entering the 6th inning. The cannoneers would rally in the 6th with a 2 out RBI single by Marissa Valvo. Brianna Grant would then drive in 2 more runs in the 6th to give the Cannoneers the lead as they hold the Hawks in the 7th to win game 1, 3-1.
The offense in game 2 was led by homeruns off the bats of Kaylee Johnson (2-run homerun) and Marissa Valvo (3-run homerun). However, the bats were not enough in game 2 as the Hawks split the series with a game 2 victory over the Cannoneers, 14-5.
