It's more Dallas Athletic Conference action this week when the CVC Baseball Team takes on the Mountain View Lions for the second time this season in a three-game series extending to Saturday. The Suns are winners of their last four having defeated both Richland and Jarvis Christian (JV) during the stretch.
In the series win over Richland, Cedar Valley claimed games two and three against the Thunderducks improving their DAC record to 9-9. Chandler Boyd had a stellar showing tallying seven runs, seven, RBIs, and a home run.
Mountain View has lost their last eight games with their most recent loss coming against Weatherford, 16-5.
Earlier this season, CVC bested MVC two games to one in their series which resulted in Jesus Fraga tossing a complete games two-hit shutout and Billy Rogers earning Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.
