Raymond, Miss. – The Indians fell to Hinds Friday night in Raymond in a battle of the top teams of the North Division.
After falling behind 1-0, the Indians (8-3, 5-1 MACJC North) tied the game at the 21st minute when Irvin Rodriguez (Pelham, Ala.) scored off an assist from Clayton O'Daniel (Tupelo).
One minute into the second half the Indians took a 2-1 lead as Lando Nichols (Chelsea, Ala.) scored off an assist from Rodriguez. However; Hinds tied the game 68th minute and then score the game winner at the 80th minute.
The Indians look to rebound Tuesday when they travel to Decatur for another North Division showdown with East Central at 3 p.m.
