For the 27th time in school history, the Rangers are Southwest Junior College Football Conference Champions.
Kilgore College traveled to Roswell, NM, Nov. 19, and brought back the hardware with a 39-12 victory over the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos.
The Rangers (8-3) made the four-team SWJCFC playoff as the No. 4 seed after winning the regular season finale against Blinn with help from Navarro knocking off Tyler Junior College.
KC defeated No. 1 seed Trinity Valley in the semifinal, 38-10, before facing off with NMMI (No. 2 seed) in the championship game.
