Ivan Lopez scored a pair of goals to lead Central Community College men's soccer to a 4-0 win over Southeast Community College at Raider Field on Wednesday.
CCC's Fernando Alves scored the game's first goal with Jack Petrovic assisting. Lopez scored the next two goals for the Raiders off the assist of Jesus Jimenez and Alves, respectively. Petrovic scored CCC's final goal with Marc Ackerman on the assist. All of the scoring took place during the first half.
"We were able to put a nice game together where we had a lot of attacking opportunities and were still strong defensively," said CCC head coach Hawken Hanna. "It is always great to get a win against a Region IX opponent and we have some offensive momentum going now."
The victory evens CCC's record at 3-3.
Up next, the Raiders will play at Pratt (Kan.) Community College on Saturday at 4 p.m.
