The CVC Baseball Team will wrap up the regular season this week when they take on the Brookhaven Bears in a series that extends to Saturday. As it stands, the Suns are currently in fifth place of the Metro Athletic Conference and are fighting for a postseason berth.
cvc got a big win on Saturday in their recent MAC series against EFC after dropping games one and two. In the 11-4 victory, Billy Rogers notched a game-high four RBIs and Grant Moore crossed the plate three times. Blake Birdwell received the win from the bump.
In their last meeting with Brookhaven, Cedar Valley fell 2-1 in the series. Jamison Totten went 5-9 from the plate with four runs and two RBIs. BHC is currently in first place of the MAC standings and has lost two of their last three games.
