Lady Centurions Sweep Colonials

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Women's Volleyball team swept Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday. In what would be the 8th sweep of the season for the Lady Centurions the first match was won 25-8, second match 25-21 and the third and final match 25-18. Outstanding performances by Freshmen Dana Miller (Furlong, PA/Central Bucks West) who recorded 6 kills on 8 attempts and April Neeld (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) who added 9 kills and 4 aces would contribute in the sweep. Sophomore Amie Rickert (Langhorne, PA/Pennsbury) had 18 assists and 3 kills and Krista Hiller (Sellersville, PA/Pennridge) had an impressive 2 kills, 7 digs and 3 aces. 

Philadelphia drops to 0-8 overall. 

Bucks improves to 11-2 overall. 

Up next the Lady Centurions travel to Lehigh Carbon Community College for a tri-match with Montgomery County Community College on Saturday, September 30th at 12:00 pm.
