Friday was a long day for The Lady Red Devils, as it fell to Weatherford College 11-3.

The Lady Red Devils captured the lead in the first inning. Chelsea Lake drove in one when she singled in the first inning.Weatherford College scored six runs in the third inning. The big inning for Weatherford College came thanks to a error, a single by Aspen Grimes, a groundout by Kalina Sato, a double by Macie Perrin, and a single by Kristeny Magallanes.Weatherford College took the lead for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Maddison Hightower singled off of Dela Boyd, driving in two runs.

Kaylee Carter earned the win for Weatherford College. She went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering two runs, three hits, and striking out two. Courtney Gard took the loss for The Lady Red Devils. She tossed one inning, allowing three runs, and two hits.

The Lady Red Devils collected five hits. Sierra Thompson and Lake each collected multiple hits for The Lady Red Devils. Winter Henry, Lake, and Thompson each drove in one run to lead The Lady Red Devils.

Perrin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Weatherford College in hits.
