Women's Golf Captures First Tournament Title in School History

The Odessa College Wrangler Women's Golf Program captured their first tournament championship in program history at the Waco River Classic at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course on Tuesday. OC brings home their first championship in only their second ever competition. 

The Wranglers shot +14 over the two day 36 hole competition, winning by 35 strokes over a field made up of six NJCAA schools from across Texas.

All five team players finished in the top 10 lead by Rosanna Halls and Claudia Alnajim Revuelta (+2) who tied for second, Alisa Brannock (+4) tied for fourth, Rylie Rodriguez (+6) tied for 7th, and Zara Houghton (+7) finished ninth. On the individual side, Andrews native Bailey Ballou (+21) finished 26th. 

Odessa will continue their fall tournament schedule with the NJCAA National Preview at Buffalo Dunes OcTober 6th and 7th in Garden City, KS.
