Cross Country Teams Finish 3rd at Cougar Invite
September 22, 2019 - - The Lorain County Community College Commodores competed in the Cougar Invitational Cross Country Meet hosted by Columbus State Community College on Saturday, September 21. The men and women ran a combined 5K race, scored separately. Lightning in the area caused the race to be postponed for 45 minutes.
The LCCC men, lead by Henry Haas with 7th place (pictured; Wellington), finished third out of five full teams, scoring 72 points. Capital University finished first with 15 points. The LCCC women finished third out of three full teams with 57 points. The Capital women finished first in this race also, scoring 25 points.
LCCC will compete next at the All Ohio Collegiate Cross Country Championship, hosted by Cedarville University on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
