Warrior Volleyball Stays Hot with 3-0 Sweep of Quinsigamond

WORCESTER, Mass. ---- The Massasoit women's volleyball team continued its winning ways with another dominate 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-16) victory at Quinsigamond for the Warriors sixth-straight win.

The win improves the Warriors to 9-2 on the season as the last six victories have all come as 3-0 sweeps as Massasoit sits a perfect 4-0 in divisional play so far this season.

The home Quinsigamond Wyverns had entered the contest with an undefeated 5-0 record, but ran into a buzz saw in the Massasoit volleyball squad.

The Warriors captured the first set 25-11 and cruised the rest of the way for the straight-set victory.

Massasoit finished with a .321 team attacking percentage, as Delaney Nagel (Stoughton) hit .462 with a team-high seven kills. Stephanie Pierre-Louis (Brockton) and Caroline Curtis (Holbrook) each knocked down five kills and Lexi Frithsen (West Bridgewater) added four.

The Warrior service game was on point against the Wyverns, as the team totaled 24 service aces. Allison Santos (Bourne) and Curtis each connected for eight aces, while Emmanuella Paul (Brockton) added six aces and 12 assists to the box score.

Massasoit returns to the court on Tuesday, hosting CCRI at 5:30 PM.
