Flyers Men's Golf Finishes Fall Campaign

Flyers Men's Golf Finishes Fall Campaign

The Sandhills Flyers Mens golf team showed their mettle at the LR Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday, taking on some formidable opponents and delivering a solid performance on the fairways.

Leading the way for our Flyers was Ben Read, who tied for the fourth position with an impressive total of 216 strokes. Read's consistent play throughout the tournament was a highlight, and his precision and consitency on the course truly stood out.

Daniel Aitken and Watcharakan Chankarn, tying for the fifteenth position with 225 strokes each, also made their mark on the tournament. Their contributions added to the overall strong finish for the Sandhills team.

Supanat Rujiranan, with 231 strokes, demonstrated determination lowering his score in each round and securing a tie for 28th overall.

Austin May, carded 234 strokes, good for a tie for 36th respectively.

As a team, Sandhills secured a third place finish in the team standings with a combined score of 592 strokes. This event provided a strong ending to what has been a great fall for our team. The Flyers will be back in action in the spring semester of 2024 as they pursue a 4th consecutive National Championship.
