Kilgore College will hold football tryouts for any college-eligible athlete who would like an opportunity to join the Rangers team.

Registration for the combine is set for 10 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at R. E. St. John Memorial Stadium in Kilgore. 

The combine will begin at 10:30 a.m. and should last until 1 p.m.

Attendees must bring their own cleats, workout clothes and tennis shoes. 

Cost of the tryout is $30 per person.

This workout will provide the opportunity to display athletic abilities to the coaching staff and possibly earn a football scholarship or a walk-on position.

"In the past, we've offered scholarships to players who have done well at these combines," said head coach Willie Gooden. "We're looking for players at all positions."
