MGCCC’s depth carries the day at ECCC
The bottom of the Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis lineup carried the day, picking up all the courts in a 6-3 win over East Central at Decatur.
The Bulldogs (5-0, 4-0 MACCC) won Nos. 2 and 3 doubles, along with Nos. 3-6 singles. Wesley Fontaine (So., Biloxi/Biloxi) at No. 4 singles, Clay Fudge (Fr., Madison/Madison Central) at No. 5 and Anderson Dulaney (Fr., Long Beach/Long Beach) dominated, dropping only six games in six combined sets.
Fudge and Pedro Molero (Fr., Maracaibo, Venezuela/U.E. Instituto Americano Joseph John Thomson) won their doubles match 8-0, and Patrick Roth and Jackson Ward (Fr., Gulfport/Gulfport) won No. 3 doubles 8-1.
Gulf Coast hits the road again Friday with a trip to Holmes. First serves are scheduled for noon.
