Palos Hills, Ill., Feb. 9, 2022 - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team fell 71-42 to Moraine Valley on Tuesday night.

The Spartans dip to 3-17 overall and 0-9 in conference play as the Cyclones move to 11-12 and 4-5.

Elgin outscored Moraine Valley 15-14 in the second quarter, but entered halftime at a 35-24 deficit. MVCC found its most dominant quarter of the game in the third to push past ECC.

The Spartans host Oakton on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
