Spring Golf Season Tees off at Home

Friday afternoon the Westmoreland County Community College kicked off their spring golf season with their first of two home matches at Glengarry Golf Course in Latrobe.  They played host to WPCC Conference and Region 20 teams CCAC, Penn Highlands, and Butler.

On the Ladies side, Kylie Kadas took first place individually, shooting an 86 on the par 70 women's course.  This was her best round of her college career so far, and hopes to be the start of things to come this spring.

On the men's side, only four of the six men's golfers took part in the event.  Chase Richardson picked right back up where he left off in the fall placing second overall, shooting an outstanding 73 (+3) on their home course.  Micah Conroy had one of his best collegiate rounds shooting a 90.  Carson Kirshner and Luke Willett also scored well in their first event of the spring with a 92 and 101.

The Wolfpack will next tee it up at Lake Arthur Golf course in a match hosted by Butler County Community College on 4-21-23 at 12pm.
