Kats Fall to Sussex County CC
Erie Community College men's football team could not continue last weeks success on the field and lost to Sussex County Community College 49-7 on Sunday.
After breaking records and making history, the Kats offense again struggled and found themselves down early as the Skylanders jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. The Kats only points on the day came from a 79 yard touchdown pass from sophomore running back Jaydkis Scott to Jaiden Brickle. Molly McGarvey kicked the extra point to make it 28-7 in the second quarter.
Quarterback Gianluca Fulciniti was 9 of 25 for 123 yards and 3 interceptions. Javion Monroe caught four passes for 80 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, Rico Lee and Patrick Burns each had nine tackles to lead the team.
The Kats will close out the season on Saturday, November 13th when they host Hudson Valley Community College at West Herr Stadium at 12:00 pm.
