Women's Golf program opens inaugural season

The Wrangler Women's Golf team will compete for the first time in program history this weekend as they travel to Amarillo, TX to compete at the WT Fall Invitational hosted by West Texas A&M.

The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Tascosa Country Club. 36 holes will be played on Friday followed by the final 18 holes on Saturday.

The OC women's golf team is comprised of eight players, five internationals and three from Texas. Local standouts Bailey Ballou from Andrews and Rylie Rodriguez from Odessa along with Jacinta Massie from Lubbock make up the trio of Texas Players. Claudia Alnajim Revuelta is from Spain, Ailsa Brannock comes to Odessa from Scotland, and Rosanna Halls, Zara Houghton, and Rachel Seal come from England.

The Wranglers will play in six tournaments during their fall schedule. Their final event of the fall will be on November 4th and 5th at the Odessa Country Club as OC hosts the Odessa College Invitational
