Apaches sweep Iowa Western

Since dropping their season opener, the Apache Ladies softball team has been on a hot streak.

Tyler Junior College, ranked No. 4 in the nation and fresh off a four-game sweep of Iowa Western over the weekend, has won 13 straight games.

After playing their first nine games on the road, TJC (13-1) played four in Whitehouse over the weekend and will now have 14 scheduled games at Schwab Field on The Brook Hill School campus in Bullard. The homestand begins on Friday as the Apache Ladies host Three Rivers (Missouri) at 2:30 p.m. and No. 11 Butler (Kansas) at 7 p.m.
