Louisburg College cross country visited South Carolina this weekend for The Biscuit 8k Collegiate Invite at Tryon International Equestrian Center.

The Hurricanes won the meet, ahead of Florida College and Cleveland Community College. Seth Sharpe finished first with a 26:25. Dexter Hill finished second at 27:00. And also in the top ten was John Gormley with a 29:08.

According to Coach Cameron Ruppe, "Seth Sharpe is developing extremely well and is poised to have a lot of success heading into regionals and nationals. Also, Dexter Hill broke through a few mental barriers and is primed to continue this success." 

Cross Country runs again on October 31 at Patrick Henry Community College for the Region Championship.
