The hosts scored 26 points in the second quarter to take a 40-17 lead at the half, then outscored ASU Mid-South 24-7 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. The Lady Greyhounds, playing only five players due to injuries, were outrebounded 63-39, committed 18 turnovers to Chattanooga State's 11, and shot only 1-of-14 from the three-point line and less than 28% from the field.
Tatyana Burks led ASU Mid-South with 11 points while Nariah Matthews scored 10 points to go with 9 rebounds. Tori Foster led the Lady Greyhounds on the boards with 12 to go with 7 points, and Briana Stewart (9 points) and Javia Wilson (5 points) rounded out the scoring.
Next up is a trip to Three Rivers Community College on Tuesday, November 27, before a double-header in Fulton, Mississippi, against Itawamba Community College.
