The Barton County Community College men's tennis team opened up their 2021 season Saturday but came up short on a 5-2 loss at McPherson College.

The Cougars won two of the three doubles matches but in singles action it was all Bulldogs as the home squad took five of the six matches.

Barton's next action comes Friday in a 1:00 p.m. first serve at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
