After RCSJ-Cumberland scored two in the top of the sixth to take a 6-5 lead, Middlesex answered right back to tie the game in the bottom of the inning, setting up some late-game heroics.
RCSJ-Cumberland took the lead once again in the top of the seventh, but Middlesex tied it at seven in the bottom of the eighth and then won it on a walkoff sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth by Nate Friedman (Sophomore/Clifton, NJ).
Sal Della Fave (Freshman/Edison, NJ) had a huge performance on the mound. He pitched three innings in relief and allowed just one hit and one unearned run to halt a charging Dukes offense. Della Fave picked up his first win of the season in relief.
Matthew Troche (Sophomore/Fords, NJ) and Brett Lukachyk (Freshman/Woodbridge, NJ) each went 1-4 with two runs scored. Roberto Gonzalez (Sophomore/South Plainfield, NJ) went 1-3 with a run, an RBI and two walks.

Angel Deaza (Freshman/Elizabeth, NJ) belted a two-run home run. Friedman and Michael Wansaw (Sophomore/Elizabeth, NJ) added two hits apiece.
