Generals beat Tribunes on the road

The Herkimer Generals were back in action Wednesday when they traveled to Rochester to take on Monroe CC. The Generals and Tribunes had a back and forth first half with a 33-32 advantage for the Generals at the half. The Generals once again outscored the Tribunes in the second half en-route to a 72-69 win.

The Generals were led by captains Jayden Stephens (Yonkers, NY), Shykell Brown(Rochester, NY), and Keyshawn Miller (Yonkers, NY). Stephens had 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal. Shykell Brown had 15 points (4 three pointers), 5 rebounds and a steal. Miller had 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal. Freshman forward Zyeir Lawrence(Oneonta, NY) chipped in with 13 points and 4 rebounds for the Generals. 

The Generals improve to 9-1 on the season with their last games of the first semester this Sunday at 12:30 PM against the Jamestown CC Jayhawks.
