Always a tough team to face, the Cyclones were able to pull out one win in their 8-1 loss against conference rival College of Lake County on Sophomore Day.

This was a long match with a rain delay mixed in. Jaykumar Patel at No. 5 singles was the lone victor, playing an overall solid match (6-1, 6-4). Erick Astranskas at No. 4 singles had several long points and worked hard for every point but fell short (6-7 [5-7], 4-6).

Before the match, the team recognized the six sophomores on the team.
