Apache Ladies go to 4-0

Erin Smith led five Apache Ladies in double figures as No. 16 Tyler Junior College scored a 106-39 win over Houston Community College on Monday at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

The game began about an hour late as HCC had bus issues, Dr. Tim Drain, TJC athletic director said.

The two clubs will play again on Wednesday in Houston. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.

The Apache Ladies' next home game is Dec. 3 against Angelina College.

Smith paced the 4-0 Apache Ladies with 19 points, while Sky'lynn Holmes and De'Janie Graves added 15 points apiece. Also in double figures were Antionette Shrepee (12) and Victoria Blankenship (12).
