Mustangs Take Down Bulldogs On The Road
Your Mustangs Men's Basketball team bounces back and takes down the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Bulldogs on the road, by a score of 72-62! Meanwhile at home, our Women's Basketball team fell heroically to the Spartans of Northampton Community College.
Women's Team:
The Mustangs were led in scoring by Michelle Mayk who scored 13 points, while shooting a perfect 3 for 3 in foul shot attempts! Gladstone was followed close behind by Polina Svetailo and Therese Keating who both scored an additional 11 points!
Men's Team:
Royersford native, Noah Baker left his mark on the game by leading the Mustangs in scoring with a grand total of 15 points! Nigel Cooke and Matt Compas followed close behind with 14 and 13 points respectively. Cooke and Compas led the team in assists netting 7 for Nigel and 5 for Matt! Cooke was also responsible for 2 of the team's 4 steals!
The Mustangs amassed a grand total of 50 rebounds over the course of the game! Noah Baker once again led the team with 9 rebounds! But Baker was followed close behind by Jay Joseph, Matt Compas, and Jake Schalki who all gathered 8 rebounds a piece! Schalki led the team in offensive rebounds garnering 3!
