WESSON – The Co-Lin Men's Soccer team played host to Pearl River Community College in South Division play on Tuesday, September 21. The Wildcats shutout the Wolves earning a 2-0 win.
The Wildcats scored one goal in each half as the first came in the 23rd minute during the first half and the second goal came in the 55th minute overall during the second half. Despite a frenzied attack from the Wolves throughout the match, the Wildcats allowed just three shots on goal and five shots overall.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ben Parkinson (Bury, England) made nine saves on 11 shots on goal throughout the match.
The Wolves are now 3-3-0 overall and 1-3-0 in South Division play and will return to action with a road contest against Jones College on Friday, September 24. The action is set to kickoff at 7 p.m.
