Mesa, AZ - Andres Hernandez lifted the T-Birds to victory Saturday night as the Mesa Thunderbirds defeated the Yavapai College Roughriders, 1-0.
Hernandez found the back of the net in the 86th minute for the T-Birds, his third goal of the season.
With the win, Mesa moves to 4-2 on the season. The T-Birds will play on Monday night at John D. Riggs Stadium against the Snow Badgers, beginning at 7 pm.
