Men's Basketball Opens Season With 85-69 Win Over FLCC

CANANDAIGUA N.Y. - Monroe Community College defeated Finger Lakes Community College with a final score of 85-69 in their basketball matchup. In the first half, Monroe Community College took an early lead, scoring 47 points compared to Finger Lakes Community College's 35 points. Terrell Williams of Monroe Community College was the leading scorer in the first half, contributing 10 points. Finger Lakes Community College's Davion Jones had the highest number of points for his team in the first half with 13 points. In the second half, Monroe Community College continued to dominate, adding 38 points to their score. Finger Lakes Community College managed to score 34 points in the second half. Elroy Clark of Monroe Community College and Jaquan Shears of Finger Lakes Community College were the top scorers for their respective teams in the second half.
