Lady Bulldogs suffer DH sweep at Copiah-Lincoln

WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell here twice today to the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves, 8-0 and 11-8.

Holmes will play at Northeast Mississippi Community College on March 31 at 2/4 p.m.

In game one, Kelsie Travis got the start and went two innings and suffered the loss. She gave up eight runs on four hits with no strikeouts and three walks. Emmagail Kelley went two innings and gave up five hits with one strikeout. 

Shelby Lindsay, Leah Kinard and LaCristia Edwards each had one hit.

In game two, Elleigh Willis got the start and suffered the loss. She gave up nine runs on six hits with three strikeouts and seven walks. Travis went 2.2 innings and gave up two runs on three hits with one strikeout. AnnaLeigh Jones had a big game in game two hitting for the cycle with five RBIs including a two-run homerun. Willis added two hits.
