RedTail Women’s Golf Compete in Battle of Waterloo

The RedTails placed third out of four teams in the two-day Battle of Waterloo golf tournament held September 15-16.
On the first day, the RedTails had a score of 356 and on day two the score was 353, leaving the overall team score of 709. Chase Doland broke the 36 hole school record, shooting a total of 157, and broke her own personal record on day two, with a score of 78. Libby Larkin shot a score of 176, following Larkin was Bailey Nuss with a total score of 182. Nuss also beat her personal best on day one shooting a score of 89. Lakota Moses shot 194 and Calli Thome shot 204.
Head coach Micah Destival had some positive words to say after the weekend.
"It was great to see Chase break her own school record for both a single round and a two day tournament," he said. "The ladies had a good weekend with good scores and Bailey Nuss also recorded a personal best at Irv Warren with an 89. Looking forward to getting back to Burlington on Tuesday and continuing our good play."
The RedTails next invite will be on Tuesday, September 19, for the SCC Invite at Burlington Country Club, starting at 10:00am.
