Snead State Opens Up 2018 Season with a Win

Snead State defeated Lawson State in five sets (14-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-19, 15-9) to open up their 2018 season with a win at home Friday.

Sophomore Megan Zuck had 15 kills and hit .200.

Marlei Murray, a sophomore from Tuscaloosa, had 11 kills for Snead State and 19 points.

Freshman Je'Anna Thomas hit .393 with 14 kills on the day.

The Lady Parsons will play three games Saturday. First up is Andrew College at 9 a.m., then Chattanooga State at 1 p.m. Snead State will wrap up with Bevill State at 3 p.m.
