Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College softball will compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Tournament at Jones College starting Tuesday, May 9.
The Tournament is a 10-team double elimination format and the Indians (29-16) will face Holmes Community College in the first game of the tournament at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
In the regular season, the Indians split the doubleheader with the Bulldogs winning game one, 9-8, and dropping game two, 7-2.
The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to a round two match up with No. 5 Jones Wednesday at 4 p.m. The loser will play Thursday at 11 a.m. against the loser of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and East Central Community College, who play at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

This year's tournament features five nationally ranked teams and two teams who received votes in the latest rankings.
