Southwestern's Molly Venteicher improved on her own school records and personal bests last week at the Dutch Athletic Classic in Pella, Iowa. In the weight throw, she shattered her previous mark by 2.66 meters, with a 15.53 meter throw -- and in turn set the NJCAA's top mark this season by more than half of a meter. She booster her shot put personal record by .94 meters with a throw of 12.58 meters -- now ranking sixth in the NJCAA this season. Venteicher placed second in both events at the meet -- facing all four-year college athletes.
