
Women's Cross Country Finishes Second at Bruce Bridgeman Invitational
CANANDAIGUA -- The Herkimer Women's Cross Country team continued its string of impressive races with a season-best second place finish at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational on Saturday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Generals placed four runners in the top-15, led by sophomore Amelia Bowman-McCoy and freshman Alexis Heath who finished second and third respectively. Heath matched her mile pace (7:14) from a week ago in the 6K race where she finished ninth.
Freshman Kearah Finlaw finished tenth with a strong pace of 8:21 and sophomore Breanne Millson placed 14th with an 8:30 pace. Sophomore Madison Campagna completed her first career race in 28th place with a 40:55.3 total time.
FUN FACTS
Bowman-McCoy has been a trailblazer, finishing in the top-five in all three races this season. In her eight career races, she has come top-five in all but one.

The Generals head to SUNY Poly next Saturday for its fourth meet of the season.
